Summer is almost here, and that means it's time for Leader Dog's annual Bark & Brew!

This outdoor, family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, June 4 and includes a 5K Run/Walk at Bloomer Park and the main festival at Griffin Claw Brewing Company on the corner of Crooks & M-59 in Rochester Hills! The day will include beer and food for purchase, live music, kids' play area, and carnival games. Attendees will be able to meet & greet Future Leader Dogs, Leader Dogs in training, and working Leader Dogs.

Upon registering for a volunteer role, you'll receive an automatic email confirmation, and you'll receive more information closer to race day. You can log on to your dashboard to confirm the date, time, and location of your selection or to cancel if you are no longer available.

Here is some important information about this volunteer opportunity:

• All volunteers will receive a commemorative Bark & Brew volunteer t-shirt which they will be required to wear at the event.
• Volunteers will also receive free admission to the event and one free ticket to give to someone else
• Volunteers ages 16 & 17 will receive a follow up verification email from Leader Dogs for the Blind.
• No meals will be provided at the event. Please eat prior to your shift, or feel free to bring money and purchase food at the event before or after your shift.
• No alcohol is to be consumed before or during volunteer shifts.
• This event will be held regardless of weather conditions- please dress appropriately for ALL elements!
• As with any event, needs for the day may change. Volunteers may be asked you to assist in another area at Bark & Brew if help is require in other areas.
