The Leader Dog Team Fundraising Challenge rewards the team or club who raises the most donations! The winning team will receive special recognition on the main stage at the Bark & Brew event!
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
Take on this unique opportunity to experience the Bark & Brew 5K with a team. The team competition is free and open to any registered participant and a great challenge, whether you're looking for a fun goal to set with friends, or planning your running group's next event. Train, race, and finish any distance with your team, and make your Leader Dog experience even more memorable by helping your team stand out and earn recognition.
**The contest closes on June 7th, 2024, and the winning team will be announced the following day.
CREATING & JOINING A TEAM
In order to be eligible for the team challenge, your club or team leader needs to create a team and make sure each member joins that team during or after registration.
Raise money, spread awareness of Leader Dog and engage with the people around you all at the same time. Your awesome fundraising idea could be the next thing that helps someone who is blind walk with confidence.

Leader Dogs for the Blind
Founded by three Detroit-area Lions club members in 1939, Leader Dogs for the Blind empowers people who are blind, visually impaired or Deaf-Blind with skills for a lifetime of independent travel, opening doors that may seem to have closed with the loss of sight.
Thanks to the generosity of our dedicated supporters, all programs are provided free to clients, including meals and housing during training, travel and equipment.
Leader Dog programs are crafted to address individual situations and adapt to our clients' changing needs at any point in their lives. From youth camp to orientation and mobility cane training through guide dog training and GPS technology integration, Leader Dog's programs give clients the confidence and skills they need to live independent lives.
Leader Dog is recognized as a "Best In America" Charity by the Independent Charities of America (ICA).
